Dr. Stacey Waller, PHD

I was in therapy with Stacey Waller for about 3 months. This is mental mental health for the wealthy. Dr. Waller does not take insurance and charges $225 an hour. It was as if I had to come up with ways to treat myself during the time I was there. I was quite comfortable with the relationship and had no trouble opening up to her but this is only beneficial when the therapist has the skills to provide help. I would never doubt her training but I am doubtful she had the experience treating people with my disorder necessary to provide ways for me to overcome it. She could not say how long the treatment would take at the outset. Furthermore, she was consistently late for appointments by 5 to 15 minutes when she seemingly had nothing to do before my appointment (no patients leaving, etc).
