The Bresnan Meeting Center, formerly known as The Meeting Center, is the administrative office of the Champaign Park District. The Bresnan Meeting Center was established in 1968 and is located in Champaign, Ill. The Champaign Park District offers facilities on a rental basis for organizational and private group meetings, concerts and fundraising events. It maintains various facilities, including the Douglass Community Center, Hays Center, Kaufman Lake Boathouse, Leonhard Recreation Center, Tennis Center and Virginia Theatre. The district s Douglass Annex is equipped with an activity room, computer laboratory, kitchen, combined lounge and crafts room. The Champaign Park District s Springer Cultural Center offers cultural, recreational and educational programs for all ages, as well as workshops, lectures and exhibits.
