Cypress Creek Family Dentistry

I have not had any issues with any work completed at Cypress Creek dental and was happy they accepted my insurance.



I have been to dental offices that I would say steer clear of but my experiences here have been positive.

I went to Cypress Creek Family Dentistry for a typical 6 month cleaning that was covered %100 by insurance. They told me that they would not clean my teeth without a "root planning" procure and they told me that such a procedure was covered by my insurance. I go to the dentist twice a year every year and I have never needed such a procedure, so I ask them to please just clean my teeth, and they say no. Now, months later I receive a nice letter from the Dentist saying that they have tried everything to get my insurance to pay for the procedure but can't and I owe them over $600.00! After talking to the insurance company, I find out that a procedure like this is unnecessary in my situation unless there is bone loss, which I had none. After discussion with the dental office, they refused to lower my bill and sent the bill straight to collections! Avoid this place for sure.

I do not dispute the doctor did an honest job, but for $1000+ a tooth, he better do. I found them unprofessional. The assistant got the first scan wrong- for the wrong tooth, and Dr. Hoppe had to correct her. Fine. The stuff were discussing while working? upcoming seminars, marital issues, vacation plans. I need not hear that. Second: the claim to my insurance was goofed, it appeared to them it was a cosmetic job done to a rotten tooth, (wonder why?) and now I am being bombarded with phone calls from a collection agency. After paying $535.50 out of pocket. This dentistry sucks- I will NEVER go back, there are so many good doctors around that are competing for your business, so beware you do not get into my situation.

I went to dr hoppe after another dentist said I needed $5000 worth of work. Dr hoppe said I didn't need any dental work and all my teeth looked healthy. Finally a honest dentist who is not trying to rob me blind.
