        I spent $800 at American Tire Depot in Cathedral City for four new tires and four wheel adjustable alignment. A few days later, I took my car to the Toyota dealership for other service. While there, the dealership offered a complementary alignment check. Toyota determined, much to my surprise, that my car was still out of alignment. Toyota corrected the problem for me.

        I returned to American Tire Depot to request a $89.99 refund for the faulty alignment. They told me that their machine was not working properly when I had the work done there but nonetheless refused to refund the money I paid for the faulty alignment. I was astounded that they charged me for work that they KNEW was not done because their machine was not working. It seems to me this is the very definition of fraud.

        After seeing a negative on-line review, American Tire Depot offered a refund of $89.99 for the faulty alignment service.
