A member of our business office staff will call your insurance company prior to surgery to verify your medical benefits for our facility charge. We will secure any information regarding co-payments, coinsurance, and/or deductibles amounts that will be your responsibility. Prior payment arrangements and/or your share of charges are expected in full on the day of your surgery. Please remember these amounts are an estimate. If your insurance does not pay as expected or your physician changes or adds to your procedure, the patient responsible amount and/or fee could change. If you have no insurance or if your insurance does not cover the procedure to be performed, please make arrangements to pay the Surgical Center facility fee prior to your surgery. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Our fees cover supplies, equipment, personnel and the use of the operating and recovery rooms. You will receive a separate bill from your surgeon, anesthesiologist and any lab, radiology or pathology testing performed during surgery.

BIO: Clayton E Turner, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon who has practiced in Casper over the past 22 years. He joined WSA in the fall of 2018, continuing his practice treating patients with spinal conditions. Dr. Turner grew up in Southern Oregon and pursued his college degree at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. He then spent 10 years in Houston, Texas receiving his MD degree and completing post-graduate training in orthopedic surgery and subspecialty training in spine surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. After training he served 4 years on active duty with the United States Navy Medical Corps and was stationed at the Oakland Naval Hospital and Madigan Army Medical Center. In 1998 Dr. Turner moved to Casper and joined Casper Orthopaedic Associates. During this time he established his practice of spine surgery, bringing contemporary, comprehensive and exemplary spine care to this region. In the fall of 2018 Dr. Turner joined Wyoming Surgical Associates, to continue his practice of spine surgery and become part of one of the most respected surgical practices in Wyoming. He continues his practice of spine surgery at WSA as one of the most experienced spine surgeons in Wyoming. He offers comprehensive and exceptional care to patients with spinal problems.

Bio: Dr. Beckstead grew up in Wyoming and attended Glenrock High School. He received his training as a paramedic at Weber State University and worked as a paramedic for 8 years. He graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Biochemistry. Dr. Beckstead attended medical school at the University of Utah and then completed his General Surgery Residency at the Phoenix Integrated Residency Program in 1999. During his General Surgery Residency, he received extra training in vascular surgery. Dr. Beckstead, along with his wife, daughter and two sons moved to Casper, Wyoming in 1999. He states that his goal has always been to return to Wyoming to practice surgery and to raise his children. Dr. Beckstead is board certified in General Surgery and has been practicing with our group since 1999.
