Laboratory Services
Blood work —Once a year starting at age 7 depending on your pets breed. This will let us know what is normal for your pet. By knowing your pet’s normal, baseline blood values, we can better determine by later tests what problems he or she may have and which of his or her systems is affected.
X-Ray
Dental Radiology
Before dental procedures, we will do pre-anesthesia blood work to make sure that your pet is healthy well before we begin. Digital dental x-rays are also taken to examine the entire tooth. Most problems with your pets teeth will be below the gum lines.
Microchipping
Best Friends Animal Health Center also offers microchips for permanent identification. Our staff will register your pet for you so that you don’t have that “one more thing” to do with a new kitten or puppy.
