After six months of pain and limping, I feel so lucky to have found Mary Kay Hannah. She is pleasant, compassionate, and extremely intelligent., and her explanations are clear and thorough. It is not her goal to provide work for herself; rather, she provides her patients with a carefully designed program to be practiced everyday at home. Consequently--and this is what really counts--her treatment works!

This summer I was training for an Ironman triathlon and I knew that in order to be able to meet the demands of training for a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike and a 26.2 run over six months I would have to stay injury free. In order to do that I needed specific help with whatever part of my body happened to be in pain and I did not have the time to waste going to the doctor when I knew that I needed specific smart solutions. Mary Kay understands the mind set of an athlete....she knew that I wanted to do what needed to be done so that my hip would not hurt or to stop the pain in my left foot. She was attentive, available and on the spot on her diagnosis. She gave me the exercises and the diagnosis that I needed to keep on training. She is spot on and takes the time to help you prevent further injury and keep on training. I am proud to say that I finished the race last weekend in under 12 hours and I have Mary Kay on speed dial for life! She is an athlete's best friend for sure.

This summer I broke my tibia-the long bone in my leg. I was non-weight bearing for 6 weeks. It was a serious break and I suddenly found myself almost totally dependent on others for activities of daily living. Thankfully, I consulted Mary Kay Hannah, PT. She helped me begin my road back to independence. As a registered nurse, I understood the mechanics of my injury. What I didn’t realize was the debilitating effects the break could produce. Mary Kay did. She knew I needed to begin a rehab program immediately. She developed an individualized treatment plan specific to my injury and supervised each phase of my recovery, giving me the encouragement to move beyond where I thought my limits were. I had no surprises along the way, other than excitement at each step of my rehab. I can walk and even dance, something I was sure I would never be able to do again. Mary Kay is an excellent clinician and a caring, dedicated professional. I highly recommend her to anyone needing physical therapy.
