Kate's Pancake House

Décor is dusty and looks like the 1980's and this also matches the menu. Food is average at best and coffee is so bad ...cold and watered down when it finally arrived. My son was so excited about his blueberry pancakes, took 2 bites and pushed his plate away. I personally would rather eat at McDonald's than wait a long time and be served by someone with an attitude and food barely edible. SKIP IT!!

I live in CB and Kate's has been consistently very good food with fantastic service! We have been back many times, even with large groups in season. In the summer there is a wait during prime weekends for a reason! For the price, the food is excellent. Much less expensive than the dives in town and the service has been consistently good. Highly recommend.

it took 12 mins to get a refill on coffee. then the coffee was cold when i finally got my splenda. food is good. service sucks didnt leave a tip.

Huge Disappointment! My husband and I headed there looking forward to a tasty breakfast while on our vacation. My husband ordered the crab omelette which tasted as if it was made of can/imitation crab and looked to have a sliced piece of cheese on top. I had the philly cheesesteak omelette which was flavorless and only had a minimal amount of cheese sprinkled on top. Each of us had home fries which were not cooked through, and again, flavorless. We were also each to have two baby pancakes with our meal. Neither of us received these. Maybe pancakes are a good bet there, but I assure you that you should steer clear of omelettes and home fries.
