Canada Lake Store and Marine has been a family owned and operated business for over 30 years. It all started out in 1973 with the purchase of a small general store in the Southern Adirondack Mountains on beautiful Canada Lake. Today, our store still maintains the quaint feel that it did over 30 years ago, but provides more items for our shoppers, such as a Gift shop, Coffee and ice-cream shop, and an expanded deli. In 1979, we expanded into the Marine industry by becoming a Mercury outboard engine dealer. Today, our Marina has grown to include new and pre-owned boat, motor, and trailer sales, a full service center, a parts department, and two large winter storage facilities. More about Canada Lake Store Canada Lake Store is more than a year-round one-stop convenient grocery store that provides for both the local community and the seasonal residents. If you are not sure if we have it, we probably do, just ask. We carry dairy products from local Skiff's Dairy, a variety of breads and baked goods from Freihoffer's Bakery, fresh produce, a full deli of meats, cheeses, and homemade salads, and offer made-to-order sandwiches. We also carry Hershey's, Perry's and Ben and Jerry's ice cream products, Pepperidge Farm snacks and cookies, and Maple Grove maple syrup and candy items. We have a well-stocked toy section, household section and fishing tackle section. We even supply the worms! A large variety of O'Brien water tubes, water-skis, wakeboards, life jackets and accessories are also available in the store. We supply unleaded gasoline for your car or boat, as well as kerosene and propane tanks. Adirondack theme items such as picture frames, balsam pillows, lamps, candles, mugs, and rustic decorative items are just some of the many gifts available in the gift shop. We also sell clothing, topographic maps and books about the area and surrounding Adirondacks. In June 2004, we opened a coffee shop, which features daily fresh brewed gourmet coffee, tea and espresso drinks from J.B. Peel, Inc, located in Red Hook, NY. Gourmet snacks and specialty chocolates are available, as well as fresh baked homemade goods such as muffins, scones, cinnamon buns, gourmet salads, and sandwiches. You can also surf the Internet while visiting our caf . We still continue to have lakefront cabins for rent on a weekly or monthly basis. Three smaller cabins are located next to the store, and three larger cabins are located in other areas of Canada Lake. We also rent pontoon boats, small fishing boats, canoes, sailboats and paddleboats for the general public to use on Canada Lake.
