They may get you with their inviting comparibly moderate rent, but when you get in and see that you DO get what you pay for, you will look for the day to get out. The quality of service is below standard. They will beautify the area around the rental office every chance they get, but the buildings in the middle of the property go lacking of any and everything. Be careful should you choose to rent here. Some of the buildings tend to flood during rain storms. They mop it up and keep going. Never repairing the problem, nor replacing your carpet or base boards that get damaged each time. Patch work on walls whether in your apt or in the hallways are done as if a child did it. Your building MIGHT be cleaned once a week. Laundry rooms are minimally maintained. Despite all of these shortcomings, your rent will continue to go up annually and you will have nothing to show for it. It was the worst experience living there. Interesting thing is Southern Management has other properties that are mentioned in the community newsletter, however they look nothing like Penn Southern. I encourage you to shop around before moving there.
