Paducah / I-24 / Kentucky Lake KOA Journey

We found this campground very inviting. It was late evening when we arrived, almost night time. But with the lighting we

could see it was a beautiful place. To register we had to go into the main building and what a surprise we got to find, a beautiful well stocked gift shoppe. Not your normal campground type merchandise, it was stocked with very nice items that made you want to shop. The lady behind the counter was very nice and made us feel very much at home. She advised us about a lot of things to do in the area, also suggested places to eat and gave us maps that made it very helpful to find our way around the area. Right away a gentleman came in, introduced himself and said he was going to take us to our site to make sure we didn't get lost. I don't think he realizes how good it was to have his help. Most places give you a map and circle a number - draw a line or two and send you on your way to find it when and if you can.



The grounds and the bathrooms are well kept and everything is so nice. We all had fun during our stay and will certainly be making plans to return to this campground! Our family loves to camp!
