Hut Inn Restaurant

Horrible service and the food was bad. My fries weren't done all the way and my salad had old lettuce. We were there for 2 hours, 40 min wait and an hour for our food. Was not happy and wont be back.

The Hut is always a great place to go. Local favorite....good menu... Delightful service. Frozen Custard for dessert is definitely a must!!! Unique building with lots of history.

If you order on the kids menu and your a adult it won't matter they will get you what you order and it is always good.

A free meal on your birthday, what more could you ask for. In conjunction with the Waterfront Restaurant in Hancock, the Hut-Inn was the first in the area to offer free meals on your birthday (the exact day). This marketing technique means that on any given day there are several people out celebrating of course most people do not come to eat alone. They have been so successful in gaining business that other local places have been forced to 'copy-cat' this offer.

Now on to the food - salads here are so large that when I order on I ask for a to-go box straight away. I then have my next meal set and paid for. If you are in the mood for a sandwich, the 'Danwich' is the way to go (although that is also huge, so unless you are starving share with your date). Finish the meal off with yummy (sticky) frozen custard or Jilberts ice cream (I just wish they had Zanzibar).

Coming through the Keweenaw, this is the place to visit - unique architecture and friendly atmosphere.
