Animal Emergency Hospital

After they charged me a $1000, my dog GUS died the next day. My baby is GONE.

DO NOT take any type of pet here if you expect any type of quality care.
They are under staffed, one veterinarian and one office girl,and one assistant is not adequate to run an effective animal emergency hospital. Ive been here twice with different emergency's both times waiting over 4 hours with incompetent care. I am sorry to say that I would not take a gerbil here!
They need to hire more staff, more doctors if they are serious about animal care, especially Emergency's! Shame on you for calling this place an Animal emergency hospital!

We recently took in an elderly rescue dog. He stole my heart in just 4 1/2 months. He suffered some type of neurological problem could not stand and would not eat. We took him to the Animal Emergency Hospital. The staff was so compassionate and very honest about his chances for recovery. We decided to put him down. I cannot stress enough how professional and sympathetic the staff was. Thank you.

Absolutely TERRIBLE. Unbelievably mad they were the only thing open and we had to take our beloved dog there. We had to wait 2 hours to get in a room when there was ONE OTHER COUPLE there. One other animal but we waited 2 hours with a dog with a broken arm. After getting him in, it was 3 hours of waiting in the room while they did lord knows what in the back. We arrived at 7:15 and didn’t leave until 12:15 with a $500 bill for putting a cast on and for giving him pain medication. I was frustrated with our experience but what made it worse was when we got home and laid in bed, our dog was screaming awake at 2:30 in pain and his CAST FELL OFF. $500 for a cast that fell off and absolutely nothing to help my poor dog. I called them back the morning after to see if they could at least put the cast back on since it fell off 2 hours after we got him home, and they denied us saying we would have to fork over more money to them. I will NEVER EVER EVER in my life go there again or refer any family members pets there. A complete money trap by unprofessionals that made this the worst possible experience of my life. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!

I recently took my senior dog in for severe vomiting. The wait time was long but many critically ill and injured pets arrived after my arrival. Although I was frustrated with the wait time I feel my dog was given exceptional care. I was able to call all hours to receive an update. I was always treated with kindness and professionalism. My dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis. He was hospitalized and treated for 2 days. He was sent home with specific instructions and a disc with X-ray info etc to be given to his regular vet. They also faxed daily reports as well as called my dog's regular vet to update her on his condition. I'd had unpleasant experiences with them in the past but I'd recommend giving them another chance. They saved my dog's life. That is well worth the wait time and money. A big special thank you to Lee Ann and Matt. A huge thank you to the entire staff and drs!! God bless you.

If had a choice to go any where else I would. I waited over 2 1/2 hours to be told it would still be at least a 1/2 hour till I even got in a room. Let alone how long it would still take for the vet to come in. I even called before I came in and they wanted to know how long before I would get there so they could put it on the board sit the vet knew we were coming. To top it all off they took a lady back that had arrived after me and left me still waiting.

I would not recommend this place to anyone,all about money.My cat Jade was attacked by a dog,was in bad shape.They took jade back right away, it was 3 hours later and vet.had not even looked at him,he was back there all alone! I demanded to see him, keep him with us.hour and a half they finally called us back, the vet was fishing us for way to much info and not even looking at jade, when she did look at him it was about 2 minutes!assistant came in,bill for treatment 1,000.00$, long list of test, blood work, and more! I told her no she came back bill for 662.00$, I had 500.00$, 162.00$ when I pick jade up, they said no,final bill with no treatment done was 228.00$ just to get my cat back and leave! I went to Flushing Animal Hospital and was told NEVER go back there! Vet here treated jade and sent us home with special food, meds, and treatment plan for 47.00$ and a fallow up visit! I WILL NEVER TAKE JADE BACK TO ANIMALEMERGENCY HSPITAL! They only care about $$$$$!!

More concerned about payment then quality care for your pet. Took my puppy in with a broken paw they didn't even wrap it for her but charged me over $100 just to walk in the door. No cash # no compassion.

Spectacular Service! Could not have asked for a nicer group of people! My dog was dying and they did Everything they could to save him. I can not Thank You enuff for that!!! Even though my baby is Not Very nice at times, You All just laughed it off. I Highly recommend if Ever there's an Emergency! ❤

excellent care and two vets on staff, a super knowledgeable , very polite receptionist. Long hours of availability 8 am to 5 pm and after 7- ?, Sat hours 1/2 day, 1 hr on Sundays. can't be beat. prices reasonable. my family has been using them for over 50 yrs.

I had to take my Dog to this emergency hospital in December. Even though I ended up having to put her to sleep, they gave Minnie the best care and was the most compassionate people. I hope you don't have to use them but if you do have a emergency your pet will get the best care possible.
