I visited the office 3 weeks ago for wrist injury. They placed a wrist splint on my injured hand before I left. They sent me to PT, only in addition to my wrist hurting, my thumb had begun to hurt. The PT sent me back to this doctors office because they had given me the incorrect splint, one for the wrong hand, which is why my thumb was hurting too. After telling receptionist what the PT said, she came back w/ prescription for the PT to build me a new splint. I explained that I just need splint like old one but for correct hand, I don't want my insurance charged twice, so she sent me to head receptionist. The head receptionist has quipy off-putting answers, and demanded that I "come back with the old splint before they give me the new one." I wasn't wearing old one cause it hurt! A one hour trip took 2 hours to get new splint. 2 hours of my day plus 3 weeks extra pain due to a medical mistake. Not to mention having to put up with ugly head receptionist.
