DAWN was created to provide law enforcement, security, military, and other asset protection agencies with a streamline education system. Students spend much of their time traveling to trainings and schools that cost time and money. This in turn has caused a strain on training budgets and staffing issues with many agencies. Most content in large trainings or classes waste much of the student's time with useless information to fill gaps. DAWN is a system that focuses on the most important elements of the training. These courses have been broken down and stripped of all the nonsense and time wasting information. Most human's have an attention span of 8.25 seconds, less than a goldfish. Keeping a student focused on information for an hour is difficult enough. DAWN's courses are usually only one hour blocks, and the students have time to interact in the live courses and ask questions to understand anything they have missed. These online courses are inexpensive, up to date, and will revolutionize the law enforcement education system. The knowledge and experience acquired by DAWN's instructors are an asset for law enforcement, security, military, and other asset protection agencies around the globe. DAWN was founded by Michael Iverson in 2015. Michael has an expansive knowledge he has gained throughout his life. Michael has a degree in criminal justice, has served in the infantry for the United States Marine Corps, real estate agent, mortgage broker, insurance agent, and financial services analyst, business owner, and entrepreneur. Along with this experience, Michael has spent the last 9 years in Law Enforcement. He has served as a Deputy Sheriff and Police Officer. Michael served on both agency's SWAT Teams (Instructor), and served as a Detective and Narcotics Detective. He specializes in highway interdiction and serves as an Active Shooter Instructor.
