Rightmark

Unfortunately we had a poor experience with RighMark. They fixed a burst pipe for us in the early spring of last year (2014) and it worked fine through the summer. As they advised, we turned off that line over the winter so it would not freeze (it is a line that runs to the outdoor spigot at the front of our home.) When we went to turn the water back on for the very first time this year (spring 2015 - less than a year after it was fixed) -- it leaked. Water came pouring out of a ceiling vent and on to the carpet. Luckily we caught it right away or it would have been much worse. The first person we called was RightMark, to see if they could come out and check the pipe they had fixed last year. We understand that sometimes things happen, and we were not upset. We just wanted them to come out and take a look. My husband left at least 7 or 8 messages for them with no response. Finally he got a hold of who we assume is the receptionist/scheduler at their office, and she said they would have Mark give us a call. Again, no response. Several more weeks go by. My husband calls again, and finally Mark called to schedule a time to come out and look. He asked if we had cut open the drywall in the ceiling so we could access the pipe, and we hadn't yet. He suggested we do that, so we did. The morning that Mark scheduled to finally come to our home, he called approximately 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment time, and had to cancel, due to car troubles. So at this point it had been many weeks of unanswered calls, a missed appointment, and now we had cut open our ceiling, all for nothing. My husband called back and of course, never heard back from anyone. So, now we are fixing it on our own. We simply wish they had the integrity to just come onsite to our home and take a look at the work that they did the year prior, and advise on what we should do next. That is it. I find it unacceptable and highly unprofessional to operate in the manner that they did.
