Overall
Tres Margaritas is a Colorado ...

Tres Margaritas is a Colorado chain that we avoided for many years, until finally, after trying every Mexican restaurant near our prior home in Longmont, we tried it out. Hands down, it's the best Mexican food we've found, no matter where we have moved on the front range (Fort Collins to Westminster). They raised their prices quite a bit a few years ago, which was disappointing, so if you're looking for "cheap" Mexican, this isn't it. But it's extremely family friendly and festively decorated, and the service, no matter what location we go to, is excellent. Plus, the portions are huge; we always leave with a second meal. There's nothing sloppy about this place. Great for a Friday night out after a long week when you are craving a margarita and some comfort food. I adore their spinach quesadilla!

3 Margaritas restaurant is an example of the immigrant dream, which included financial success as well as a chance to go back home and help those left behind. The nine Morales kids, six girls, and three boys slept on mats on the floor of a two-bedroom house at their small ranch. After school, they worked in the fields. Today all of them own at least one restaurant.
