Actually, in response to the previous review, what is actually happening is this;
they serve hamburgers on brioche rolls, rather than regular crappy hamburger buns, making the hamburgers super delicious. They use the same rolls, as mentioned, for the french toast by cutting off the crusts. So yeah, brioche is technically not exactly the same as challah (both sweet yeast breads with high egg and butter content, brioche is slightly richer usually), but it's not as if they're scooping out Wonder Bread or anything.
Sorry, I love this place, and couldn't let the misinformation slide.
Great neighborhood place, and I love the staff (with 1 or 2 attitude-y unhelpful exceptions).
