Physical therapist have graduated from a PT accredited program, passed a national registration exam and are licensed to practice in the state in which they work. Both OTs and PTs can practice in any specialty area of their professions, such as general rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, head injury, orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatrics or hand therapy.

Maria Randazzo PT, DPT received her BS from Saint Josephs College and majored in Therapeutic Recreation. Maria then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 2019. Marias interest include orthopedics, especially post-op rehabilitation. Dr. Daniella Bauman, PT, DPT, MS has been a practicing physical therapist since 1991. She received her bachelors of physical therapy from Boston University and then furthered her studies by receiving her Masters in musculoskeletal physical therapy from Long Island University. Daniella then went on to receive her clinical doctorate in physical therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. During her career, she has worked in a variety of settings including hospital, cardiac rehab, home care and outpatient facilities. Daniella has extensive clinical experience in sports medicine, orthopedics, post-operative rehabilitation, manual therapy and functional training techniques. She is dedicated in providing the highest quality of individualized care to her patients through comprehensive examination, biomechanical analysis of the human body and integrated exercise approaches.

MICHAEL ARGIRO MS, OTR/L, CHT received his B.S. in Biology from St. John’s University. He also graduated with top honors from the Occupational Therapy Program at Touro College Manhattan in 2001 with advanced education in Hand Therapy. Michael became a certified hand therapist in 2007 and often lectures at Maimonides Medical Center on advanced therapy and splinting techniques for upper extremity rehabilitation. He specializes in post-operative upper extremity rehabilitation including flexor and extensor tendon repairs and custom splinting. Michael is also a fieldwork supervisor for students from various Occupational Therapy Programs throughout the U.S. and has been in private practice since 2004. Michael also speaks Italian fluently.

Manual Therapy
MERRY ORT MS, OTR/L, CHT received her BA in Psychology from Touro College Manhattan. She continued her education at Touro College Bay Shore and received her Masters in Occupational Therapy in 1998. Merry became a certified hand therapist in 2006 and has advanced manual therapy training for Sports Rehabilitation. Merry also has specialty training in Burn Rehabilitation from NYPH Cornell Burn Center. She was also an adjunct professor of anatomy at the Long Island University Occupational Therapy Program and has years of experience as an OT fieldwork supervisor for students. Merry is an avid surfer and also makes time to treat early intervention patients with various pediatric conditions.
