- Freeman Fence is a family owned and operated business. Roger Freeman has been in the fence industry for 20 years. We are a member of the AFA (American fence Association), BBB (Better Business Bureau), and the IFB (Illinois Farm Bureau). Mr. Freeman is a 1981 graduate of Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering with an emphases in Welding Technology. Our service area includes Chicago and all Suburbs, though we also work on custom jobs in other neighboring areas. We are authorized dealers for Crescent City Iron, Amerstar Fence, Tri-cor International Gate Operators, Door King, Merchant Metals, Chamberlain Operators and Master Halco Fence. We are not the largest. We don't have a 50, 000 square foot show room. We don't have 40 trucks. We don't have 28 salesman. We don't have a $100, 000 advertising budget with newspaper, TV, radio, and full page Yellow Page advertisements. What we DO have is a great small family business without the huge overhead costs. Everyone at Freeman Fence loves what we do and takes great pride in every fence or gate.

Freeman Fence is the worst fence company I have ever dealt with and I hope this review saves someone from making the same mistake I made. The fence gates (2) at my La Grange home started falling apart after a week and the owner never called back, after several attempts to reach him. After a year, the fence looked like it was thirty years old! The house is on a corner lot, if you want to see the nightmare of job that this awful fence company installed, just drive past 300 S. Eighth Avenue, La Grange. What a disaster!
the worst customer service period!!!! fence posts broke in less then five years! can't get any returned phone calls! called a different company to repair my fence! thanks freeman you suck!!!!
