Broken Arrow Police Department s special operations team specializes in tactical responses and hostage negotiation. The department also manages a patrol division that handles emergency and nonemergency calls, investigates traffic collisions and initiates preliminary investigations of reported crimes. Additionally, the Broken Arrow Police Department manages a jail that houses more than 35 beds and features an intake area and exercise yard. The department also offers special services for animals and youths.
