Bridgeview Liquors Inc

Bought a bottle of champagne for the new year and everyone was so happy to sell me 150.00 bottle. The owner even gave me a free bottle of cheap wine. Anyways, when i opened it for my birthday on Jan 9, 2018 instead, it had a cardboard, skunky taste and smell. I had drank this champagne before and it never tasted like this. My husband was so angry, he flung it into the kitchen sink. I called Binnys liquor and asked them if this was possible and they said yes, every once in awhile Dom perigon can get corked. They also told me to take the bottle back to where i purchased it and they should give me a new one or a refund. So I did. The owner and old woman behind the counter remembered me right away but as soon as i told them the problem they became very nasty and rude. Did not want to hear me out. They refused and accused me of drinking it and wanting another one. Regardless, lesson learned. I will never buy cheap nor expensive liquor at this establishment ever again.Stick to large stores where they are not greedy and would of gladly replaced it.

I quit shopping there over 5 years ago because their prices listed were not honored at the register.
