Cox Heart Center Branson

My 78 year old mother showed up in the emergency room earlier this week with severe vomiting and dehydration. She was disoriented and had severe vertigo. The ER staff refused to allow her to lie down until the triage nurse returned from break. Standing or sitting increased the dizziness, which made the vomiting worse, so my sweet dad went to his truck and brought in the cleanest blanket he could find, so ,my mother could lie ON THE FLOOR of the ER. In the end, they diagnosed mom with "probably a bladder infection", prescribed antibiotics and sent her away. My dad drove through the night to get back to DFW. Upon arriving at the first major hospital he could find, the ER staff there immediately diagnosed a small stroke. Precious hours were lost, during which time actions could have been taken to minimize the lasting effects of the stroke. The neglect of the ER staff in Branson has stolen my mother's future...she will never again be what she was. In turn, they also stole my father's, my sister's and my own. Apparently someone needs reminding...FIRST. DO. NO. HARM.
