i had a great experience at this place. My 11 year old needed a mri of his knee and this facility allowed me to go in the mri room with my son, putting both of us at ease. The receptionist was fast and had all the authorizations ready. The mri tech was knowledgeable and helpful and even allowed my son to choose the music he would be listening to. The report was quickly sent to my doctor and my son's care was expedited.

I have had mri's done at every facility is the area and when I found Brandon Open Mri it was and is by far the best center in the area.

The radiologist are all amazing at what they do.

And the staff and techs are miles better then any in the area.

I have been getting mri's since 2004 every year and in 2009 when I found Brandon Open Mri I knew I had found. I can guarantee that this center is professional and has the best radiologist.

My wife and I had at Brandon Open MRI our worst open MRI experience (she had four open MRI in the past in the Chicagoland area with no problems). The receptionist was very helpful, welcoming and friendly, the only positive aspect in our appointment today, 09/27/2012 at 12:30 p.m.. The male MRI technician and the female staff (whose role there we were not told and could not even guess) were unwelcoming, unhelpful, cold and seemed to not able to care less. He refused to receive the prior radiology and diagnostic imaging films and discs that we brought, stating that they were not needed (even if the new patient packet, that we had obtained in advance asked if we had brought them). (We had even informed the ordering physician that we would bring those previous films and discs, to which she had encouraged us as the status of the illness could be better compared). If the radiologist and the technician staff of Brandon Open MRI do not want those previous MRI and CT records they should start using them to be more thorough in their findings or should at least remove the implied request of the old films, etc. from their intake questionnaire. Furthermore, even if my wife and I stated that she wanted to hear music from Mariah Carey or Christian worship during the MRI (as those names were in a list posted as available on the wall in the reception space, next to the dressing area) no music was played during the procedure. She heard only silence and not even information about steps been done or steps to follow or any questions during the procedure asking if she was doing well. My wife was not even given ear plugs or headphone or any type of hearing protection during the MRI. During the MRI she had in other better places she listen to pleasant music on headphones (and even from a CD that she was allowed to bring) and was questioned and informed regularly by the technicians during those previous MRI. My wife was not helped to get on the MRI table even if the technician should have known from his preliminary questions and the intake questionnaire that she was having disabling pain. He only helped her getting off the table. As for the problems they had finding the key to open the locker where my wife placed her items before the procedure, it showed their lack of coordination and also that better instructions should be given to their patients when asking them to change to an examination gown.
