Very disatisfied with this store and Med-lift chairs. I spent $3,000.00 on a lift chair which is about 6 to 10 times what
most lift chairs go for and when it arrived it lacked several of the features my previous lift chair had. I thought o.k. , at least I had paid for quality and service. After 2 1/2 months the chair stopped working with me in it in the reclined position. Being a handicapped person as most lift chair owners are, I had a hell of a time getting out of the chair. I called Heringhaus and told them what happened and they called the manufacturer who told them it was one of three parts that was broke. They said they would send all three parts to the store and the store could come out and fix the chair. One would think that knowing how much I paid for the chair and the fact that I am handicapped and really needed the chair they would send the parts via overnight express mail or Fed-Ex overnight. No, they sent them regular UPS and it took a week for the parts to get here. When the repairman got here, it turned out it was non of the three parts they sent, but an electrical wire that had been severed by a mechanism in the chair. He spliced in back together and the chair was fine. This could have been fixed the first day I called if they had only come out and looked at it. Also, who builds a chair and puts an electrical wire in a place where the chair itself can sever it. Souvh for quality and service!
