Liquor Mart

My wife and I are visiting my parents for their 65th wedding anniversary. Tonight is their special dinner and I dropped by Liquor Mart on the way to their house (we live in Virginia) based on my parents recommendation. I only had a few minutes to pick a wine and, knowing they like french Pinot Noir's, I picked up a $79 bottle based on the store's write up. I am not into French Pinots, so had to rely on other info. Imagine my surprise when I checked the wine out online later and found that the wine should have been $36. At least that is what the various wine rating and database sites said. Unfortunately, the timing of their dinner and my early morning flight out prohibits me from returning this very, very overpriced bottle of wine. So, Liquor Mart gets away with ripping me off for $36 bucks. I hope none of you are foolish enough to purchase wine from them without carefully checking online for the correct pricing. For that matter, there seems to be other wine stores in Boulder, I suggest you shop there.
