        South Cove Community Health Center, founded in 1972, is one of the leading primary and preventive health care centers for Asian Americans. The center comprises more than 150 staff members, and serves over 15,000 patients. It offers a wide range of services, such as dental, ancillary and optometry. The center also provides various behavioral health services, which include psychotherapy, parent aide, intensive family intervention and case management. South Cove also provides tuberculosis, asthma and pulmonary care services. Additional services offered by the center comprise adolescent health care and thalassemia screening. Its medical services also include gastroenterology, neurology, radiology and bone density imaging, and it also provides geriatric services. South Cove Community Health Center offers a wide range of volunteer programs, such as community health, family and youth programs and finance. The center is located in Boston.

        Poor Services

        Never on time, even I made the appointment and came earlier. The doctor saw the patients who stepped in without making any appointments who came before 9am. Even I & other patients tried to protect to the nurses who said they couldn't do anything about it, it was the matter of the doctors who chose to see the first. When we complaint to the doctor who said we should talk to the staffs or nurses about this issue. So, as a patient, we were told this and that by people inside, and sometimes I needed to wait for an hour even the appointment was at 9am.



        Also some staffs in the front desk were particular rude, and I once gave the nurse the wrong card #. She told me to make sure I'd give the right one to her next time in order to save her time and give her a break. Their attitudes and professional towards their jobs that I've never come across in other places.



        I'll not choose this clinic as my PC.
