Yes. A tooth with a crown will move just like a tooth with a simple filling. When teeth are missing, orthodontic treatment will aid in the alignment of the remaining teeth.

Dentures
Keep retainers clean by brushing them with your toothbrush and water. Toothpaste works well to clean Hawley retainers but can scratch the clear type of retainers. Retainers can be cleaned with commercial retainer cleaner specified for use with retainers. Denture cleaner can be used occasionally but because of stronger chemicals, these solutions may hurt the solder on Hawley retainers over time.

Dr. Flynn moved to Shreveport to be close to her fiancÃ©, Jit, who is finishing up his oral surgery residency at LSU Shreveport. When she's not working, you can find her boating with her family, traveling, trying out a new exercise class, or playing the piano and flute!
Jaw Surgery
Dr. Cloud is married to her dental school sweetheart, Corey; they welcomed their first child, Claire, in September 2020. When not working on teeth, the Clouds enjoy traveling, snow skiing, and loving on their puppy, Mae. She is looking forward to serving this community with her skills in traditional braces, Invisalign, orthognathic surgery, and interdisciplinary treatment.

Dr. Digney practiced general dentistry for 13 years before embarking on his specialization and post-doctoral residency in orthodontics, and brings a remarkable perspective for childhood developmental monitoring and early treatment.
