Rent-A-Center

I rented an appliance from them until I could get one purchased. I paid on time, but if I hadn't paid by the due date ahead of time they would call on the date it was due 3-4 times. They treated me as though I was trailer trash trying to steal their property. I thought I would give them another try when my refrigerator quit right in the middle of the Christmas holiday. I looked at their frigs avail and the least expensive had a big dent but they still had the rental at a new appliance rate. I asked to speak to the mgr about discounting it since it was damaged. I was told he would call me back 3 different times. I called a 4th and he said he would call me right back in a few minutes right after he asked if I was only going to rent it a few months. I told him it would probably be about six months. He never called back. I guess if I wasn't ready to rent it for a gazillion months at an over-inflated rate he didn't want my business. I went ahead and purchased a new refrigerator and will never do business with them again.
