We had an emergency broken water pipe problem when we were trying to move in during the weekend. We were recommended these guys through our neighbors. They charged us ~$100 for diagnosis. The plumber, John, was not too interested and was unhappy that he was called in. He wanted to charge us to replace both the HOT water and COLD water washer pipes eventhough only one was broken. Luckily we caught it and asked him to fix only that which was broken. He wrote up an invoice which we didnt pay much attention to as we needed to get water supply back in the house. When we stared at the invoice later that night we noticed that we were charged $226.29 for a washer bib and a Shark Bite. Home Depot carries them for less than $30 total. We called Drake to see if they can explain the invoice. The lady was nice, but transferred us to the manager who was rude and seemed offended that I would ask him to explain the invoice. He was rude and treated us like we should have denied the service and not question things now. I can sense where he is coming from, but he did not have to be rude in the way he put the same message across. He later figured out that my confusion was caused by the way the plumber had written up the invoice. The $226 was the cost to fix the issue. Since my total amount charged was $360, I could not say this clearly from the invoice. I thought that price was a rip-off, but I guess I had no choice at that point. Like their manager said, I had the choice to turn down the service. Thats what I am doing moving forward. DENY THEIR SERVICE !!!

They are not getting my business ever again and neither will my friends.
