        This is the most inviting and seductive food store you could imagine. It's the Macy's of the food markets. Both the fresh and the prepared foods aare wonderful, although some of the choices have prices in the stratosphere. You'll want to overspend, so keep an eye on your totals. Enjoy!

        Great store and wonderful choices for someone buying groceries and food.



        There is only one problem: BE CAREFUL WITH WHAT IS POSTED AS THE SELL PRICE AND WHAT THEY ACTUALLY CHARGE YOU. I had this problem with the seafood/meat counter area. I bought almost a lb. of sashimi tuna that was posted at $11.99/lb. They billed it at $12.99/lb. I caught the "mistake" and they corrected it. Another customer standing by purchasing a different fish, checked out her price and they did the same thing to her. She thanked me for alerting her. THIS IS AN UNACCEPTABLE "MISTAKE" OR PRACTICE.



        When I got to the cash register, they did not have a large screen like Publix does where you can see what you are being charged for, so there is no way to follow what the cashier is doing until the purchase is made and paid for.



        This means that you will have to stop and look at the entire ticket after you pay to make sure there are no other "mistakes". Watch out customers! Don't get ripped off! (one more thing to worry about when you shop at The Fresh Market)
