About Formica & Associates, Inc Formica & Associates, Inc is committed to providing our clients with the most complete, accurate and detailed construction documents which pertain to Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing design. Our staff strives to meet the needs of our clients in every possible way. Started more than 28 years ago ( 1978 ) FORMICA & ASSOCIATES has provided the architectural and building industry with engineering designs that are economical and energy efficient utilizing the latest technology. The firms reputation has been built on repeat business, referrals, and client satisfaction. The company's practice of hiring the brightest young engineers and mixing them with the more experienced engineers has enhanced the growth and service of the firm over the years. This combination has also led to many prestigious engineering designs that are over 20 years old and still considered landmark buildings today. The company is located in Boca Raton, Florida midway between Miami and Palm Beach. In September 2006, we opened our first branch office in Vero Beach to service Brevard, Indian River and St. Lucie counties. Besides being licensed in Florida, we also hold licenses in Texas, Virginia, and Connecticut. Locally we hold certification from Palm Beach County and the city of West Palm Beach, which pre-qualifies us for providing engineering services on any of their projects.
