Dental Examination
Your visit will be for a routine check-up. We'll ask you a few general health questions and enquire whether you have experienced any dental problems or pains. Then carry out a full dental examination of the soft tissue lining of your mouth, teeth and gums.
X-rays
There are various types of X-rays that you might need to have. Some machines are very small, which will show a few teeth at a time. Larger X-rays, called panoramic X-rays, will show the whole mouth, including the bone structure around it.

Tooth Extractions
Tooth Extractions The removal of one or two teeth is a simple procedure. Extracting multiple teeth requires that the jawbone be shaped and removed to prepare for a denture. You may experience the following after a multiple tooth extraction procedure. Within two days, you will experience the maximum swelling both inside the mouth and possibly around the eye as well. The area around your eye may also become discolored, which may be alleviated by a warm compress. The muscles near the extraction site may become sore after surgery, causing a sore throat. This is normal as well as the corners of your mouth becoming dry and cracked from being stretched open during surgery. In most cases, you will have a follow up appointment with your dentist within 48 hours after surgery to discuss any post surgery symptoms that you are experiencing.
Bone Grafting
Receiving regular implants takes several months and requires at least two dental appointments. Certain treatments require additional visits for bone-grafting to supply sufficient bone to support the implant posts. Still, other patients aren't able to undergo invasive surgery and repeat dental appointments, or have lost too much bone mass in their jaws to receive a full-sized implant, and this is perfectly normal. In these cases, mini implants may be the best option. Dentists can usually install mini implants in only one visit using local anesthesia and without any sutures.
