Estep Tire & Auto Center

I went to Estep Auto to get a inspection sticker. Afterwards I went to leave and my truck wouldn't start. They tried to jump start my truck, tested my battery, then pushed my truck into a bay worked with my truck until they got it started. They didn't charge me a cent for all their work and time because that's the kind of people they are. God bless them all!

I am going to give an honest review here. First off I am an ASE certified technician. Estep had a really good deal on tires and I needed 4. The people behind the desk are very polite, helpful, and courteous. Now my problem, once I got my truck back, my lug nuts were totally over torqued. If I would have had a flat, there was no way I could have changed my tire. My impact gun couldn't back them off. I broke a breaker bar with a cheater pipe trying to remove them! I removed my lug nuts and torqued them to the proper spec. I also got an alignment. Within a few moths I noticed toe in, my truck had not been properly aligned. I'm telling you that they (the mechanic) took a short cut to get me in and out to make more money. If the mechanic will take a short cut on tires, they will do it on any repair you have. Therefore what ever good they have done is destroyed by a short cut, resulting in 1 star of my review. Beware if you go to Estep!

Terrible! If you want to spend more money to fix what they tore up this is the place for you! Took my car there for an oil change and tire rotation. Was missing lug nut cover from each tire. Called and told them. Said they would look for them. Took my phone number and never received a return call. Now I have found out that I must take my vehicle to a dealership to have the oil filter removed because the filter was either put on to tight or cross threaded.

Estep told my kid they'd have replace ball joints, tie rods, etc before they could do a front end alignment on her car. All those parts had just been replaced with brand new parts by another garage, less than a month ago. The other garage, however, wasn't equipped to do the alignment, which is why she went to Estep. The Estep people implied the other garage had used old parts. That's a crock because she had personally bought the new parts from the auto supply store. Beware.

Mack & his staff have been servicing my vehicles for years. I pass at least 6 auto repair shops on my way to Estep Tire and Auto because I know they will take great care of me. Their sound advice, integrity and competitive prices can NOT be beat.

Don't know how this place got rated high. They don't work with you when a problem they created on your car. Instead want to charge you more money for what they themselves caused. I'll never go back here. The quality and service isn't worth the time you give them. I'll look for car service some place else.
