        Fantastic food!!

        Classy old hotel with wonderful food. Great place to go for a celebration such as birthday or anniversery. Good service and great food.

        This is a classy restaurant with style and service. Many menu choices and they are all good. Desserts are great also. We use it for our work dinners and they are very accommodating.

        Hathaway House is a designated Michigan historic site listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is a restaurant with Christmas d cor and ambience. The restaurant features Georgian-style molding unifying a traditional American floor plan. Its front entrance showcases a stairway with hand-turned cherry balusters. Hathaway House, built in 1851, has more than five dining rooms and parlors. Its menu includes roast lamb racks, seared salmon, deep-fried frog legs, vanilla ice cream and a range of wines, such as pinot noir, merlot, zinfandel and sauvignon blanc. The restaurant also offers off-premise catering services for groups of up to 500 people, as well as organizes musical evenings.
