Very knowledgeable and sensible. I took my dog in for a 3rd opinion about an issue, and I felt that the Dr. gave me the best advice about it. I trust his years of experience and diagnosis skills.

Continued from above...we spooned into him the antibiotic Town and Country had provided. We were waiting for him to die, but he slowly recovered. In a week, he was his old self again, unafraid and greeting guests and repairmen, watching the guys mow the lawn, in fact all of the things the vet said had him so scared. Reprehensible. Callous and judgmental care that nearly led to our pet's death. It left us scarred and vet shy for several years. This clinic has several vets on staff, I only experienced one, in all fairness. But I find it hard to believe she was working unobserved. Sorry, but this experience was horrifying.

Unfortunately, I have no choice to award this facility one star for nearly killing my pet. I am nt a cruel person, but the care I received at the veterinary "hospital" was beyond substandard. We had taken r cat to the emergency clinic in Christiansburg when he suddenly became very ill, as in barely able to stand. The were lovely, but for some incomprehensible reason I decided that we needed to see a vet closer to our new home in Blacksburg. We got him in the next day where the vet proceeded to poke at him, sizing us up as overly doting but clueless owners who didn't "get" that our "neurotic" Siamese was simply stressed out after a move. They kept him the night where he was too terrified to display his symptoms, then sent us home with this holistic stencher to plug into the wall to clam him (and presumably us). We looked at him, incontinent, trembling, vomiting, obviously dying. We brought him onto the bed, wrapped him in blankets, held him and cried, while we lovingly spooned into...
