Maya Mexican Restaurant

My brother and I like eating here occasionally on Fridays for lunch. They have reasonable prices and a good selection of food and drinks. They have great happy hour prices on beer and margaritas. The only drawback is that the discount margaritas don't seem to have much tequila. I had four (small sized) of them last time I went and didn't feel the least bit impaired. This many drinks would usually have me feeling a slight buzz to say the least. But you can't complain- I think they were only like 2 bucks a pop. Over-all good experience.

We've been eating at this restaurant since it opened and can honestly say it's one of the best restaurants in Homewood

I love their homemade salsa and light tasting chips, my family and I have tried just about everything on that menu

and it's always tasty and satisfying. My wife enjoys the guava margarita ,I prefer the Gold margaritas.

just for your info we have never been over charged on our c/card ,as for the customer your probly upset cause it was declined so what get over it! computers arent perfect and neither are you!!

Ive been eating at many mexican restaurants and this by far is the best . The restaurants always friendly and the food is HOT AND FRESH I love the weekly specials they have especially 2 for 1 dinners and .99 margaritas !!!

I used to frequent this restaurant, until one day, the salsa tasted like it had a beer poured into it. It was disgusting, and I didn't go back for months. I decided to give it another shot (due to proximity to my work location) and the food was good again. However, upon paying the bill, the cashier informed me that my credit card was declined. Though slightly embarrassed, I was more concerned that my card had been stolen and misused; I contacted the cc company who informed me that there were no issues with the card and no outrageous charges that would "freeze" it. I paid by check card, and days later learned that they charged both my check card AND my credit card... three times. So, I ended up paying quadruple what I should, and am having to dispute the 3 credit card charges. Needless to say, Los Compadres esta muertos para mi.
