Petit Excavating installed a new waterline to our home in 2012. In 2014, it began to leak. I called Mr. Petit and asked him to repair the line. I instructed him to let me know when he would be there so I could see the line and where it was leaking. He "repaired" the leak without calling me and blamed the leak on the pipe manufacturer. He charged us a ridiculous amount for the repair and refused to lower the cost even though the line was less than 2 yrs old. 2016.... the pipe leaked again in the same location. Called Mr. Petit. Said he would look at it... no show and no call. Hired a new company to repair the line. They said that the line was laid on top of rocks and buried with rock around it. Improper install and poor workmanship by Mr. Petit. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company! Hire someone who takes pride in their work!
