Easily scheduled my service online and received a call to get more information. Got to reschedule for an earlier date that was more convenient. Technician arrive early within the time range I was given. He quickly diagnosed the problem and got approval for repair. Offered to come back later the same day after the part was delivered. He returned and fixed my microbe as promised. The entire process of scheduling and getting my repair done was simple and stress free. Sears repair's service is superior to another warranty plan I had previously.

The service was great. The technician was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. He listened to my description of the problems with our washing machine, did a test cycle start to confirm his own diagnosis and quickly disassembled the machine to replace the motor. The part was on hand in his truck and he was able to complete the job that day. My minor suggestions to improve service: please give customers more flexibility in scheduling appointments ( i.e. A smaller window of time to be available on site, options to select morning/afternoon preference), the technician was careful not to leave a mess in my mudroom but please equip service technicians with their own drop pans (maybe disposal ones), not knowing about how competitive your parts and labor fees are, it would be helpful to provide this data to customers as they decide on the spot whether the repair cost is prudent or is it time to purchase a new appliance.

Excellent service. Ramon came on time, plenty of advance notice of arrival from him and from SEARS Central via email. Fixed leak in water dispensing system of refrigerator. Very pleasant and efficient. Did it very quickly.

Been waiting for proper repair since September. Technician came to assess the issue and ordered parts. The first wait was only about 10 days. That part did not fix the problem. The next part was apparently never ordered because I did not ever get a follow up call. After speaking with several service people I finally got a technician to come, order a part and attempt the repair again on 12/20. I was told to wait 24-48 hours to make sure the repair was done. I called back on 12/22 and am still waiting for another technician to come. My service was scheduled for 12/28, 1-5 PM only to find the service was entered incorrectly for a different appliance that needs no repair. Spoke again with customer service this morning to be told I will receive a new service on 01/04 between 8AM and noon. I'm so disgusted with this entire process. This is the 3rd appliance to have service this year. One of the three was a good experience. That's not a good thing!

The technician came, checked the switch box and left stating that it was fine. He didn't even bother to actually understand the problem, test the oven and see if it turns on.
The problem persists and we have had to call again, which means we will have to take off work to be home waiting for the technician again.

Repairman was in and out of the house in less than 15 minutes, and it was very expensive (replace ignitor - $250). I had already diagnosed the issue and told the repairman upon his arrival. Everything was ready for the repairman weeks prior to his arriving (Sears rescheduled appointment - I had to schedule another day off). The repairman agreed with my diagnosis and was appreciative of the work I'd done preparing the oven for replacement of the old ignitor. I'd made the appointment online, spoke with a Sears home repair agent several times about the repair issue, and I asked for the 20% advertised discount. My diagnosis of the repair issue was correct and the Ignitor was replaced. Since the time of repair, I've checked comparables for the repair and replacement cost of an oven ignitor - The amount Sears charged me is well above the average repair/replace cost to do the comparable job by other companies. I didn't even get the 20% discount - I am extremely disappointed with Sears!

Sears service is the worst I have ever experienced from any business ever. I was without my dishwasher for over a month this summer. I have an extended warranty, that apparently puts me at the back of the line. It is finally fixed, after 3 visits and a month. I had
even worse service on my refrigerator and washing machine.

This was a routine yearly maintenance visit. I was kept informed of the times the technician would arrive within the broad 3-6 pm period I specified. This was extended pat 6 online He was further delayed and phoned to tell me. This was fine for me. The only complaint I have is that I was pressured to extend my service contract and had to get my husband to get him to get to work doing the Fridge service and convince him we don't respond to high pressure sales tactics.

Three hours late and dishwasher died shortly after repairman departed. He spent most of the last half hour trying to sell me a warranty at $100 a year for five years. Never using Sears again.

The Sears Tech. showed up right on time, and was courteous and competent. He had the problem with my washer diagnosed in a jiffy, then gave me an estimate for the repair. He had the part on his truck, and he was done and out the door in about 35 minutes. I was very impressed; he was really excellent, and the system backing him up worked flawlessly. Ten for ten!
