        Vines is the most dishonest and deceitful enterprise I have ever dealt with I purchased parts for a 2001 X5. The parts that were delivered were from a later year and did not fit. Figured an honest mistake. I spoke to David Vine, whom I also ordered the parts from. He told me that correct parts were being sent out and that a return label would be included to return the incorrect parts. Parts never arrived. Dave now became evasive to the point of answering the phone and saying "Dave isn't in right now". Also be aware that they have caller ID and will not answer the phone call of whomever they are avoiding. After about 3 weeks of being lied to I was finally told that no replacement parts were sent and I would have to get an RA# to return the parts for a refund. I finally got an RA# from Dave, (he again claimed to be someone else, this time an ex employee named Marty). Against my better judgment, I returned the parts. 3 weeks later, still no refund and they do not answer the phone.

        Do not do business with Vines Automotive. david Vines is a dishonest person, he has a history or taking deposits on parts orders never shipping and never refunding your money. I would recommend not doing business and go else where there are plenty of "honest suppliers out there for used BMW parts. good luck.

        I have been in business for 30 years selling auto parts.This company Vines automotive is the worst company I have ever,ever dealt with. The owner David will take your money and say he has the part you need but will never send it to you. He will just lie to you and then will not return your phone calls.Also his worker Robert is just like David. This COMPANY SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN!!! After a month and half my credit card company had to refund my $150.00.He also quoted me $125.00 for my part on the BMW then charges me $150.00 THE GUY IS A RIP OFF.

        Do Not Buy Anything From These People! Purchased transmission kit from them ($1500) three months ago and was told to come down and pick it up. When I arrived I was told that some parts were lacking. They promised to ship flywheel, pressure plate, clutch, throwout bearing, etc.within a week. In spite of my making 20 calls to them (documented), their promise to return the calls with shipping info (I never got any), and a certified letter requesting follow up, I still have not received my parts. Every time I called they said "the parts are on their way" and I was passed off to someone different. Check out other reviews on them because they are rated as poor in customer service and integrity. I should have listened to one of the local Bimmer shops who told me to avoid doing business with them.
