It is so great to come to see the Transcendentist and his extraordinary team of young and caring professionals. I feel peaceful and happy the moment I walk into the office and am cared for by every member of the extraordinary team of young professionals from the person who cleans my teeth to the person who massages my feet. Even the person who collects my money makes me feel good about myself and my health.

I woke up with a missing filling and needed to get in ASAP. Christina got me in quickly the next working day and Dr. Fred fixed me up in about 20 minutes! I am extremely grateful for the quality care I receive at the Transcendentist! Thank you!

I love the folks at Transcendentist. The quality of the dental care is excellent and I always feel welcomed and cared for. (And, as someone who used to be pretty scared of the dentist, I have to say that being offered a foot massage along with the standard novocain makes dental work a lot less scary -- and probably has reduced the amount of pai- relief I need later ) My only hesitation in recommending Transcendentist to friends and colleagues is the cost - which (at least on my dental plan) leaves me with a pretty substantial out-of-pocket payment. But if you can make it work, it is so totally worth it. I love Dr. Fred, and Lindsey, and the whole crew.

Dr. Pockrass and Lindsay were professional, personable and punctual. For my cleaning, Lindsay. as always, was gentle and thorough. Christina, in the office, made sure my next appointments were set up so they fit my schedule preferences. I never get stressed when I go to the Transcendentist. And my teeth get great care.

Dr. Pockrass is a genius. He has created a comfortable and eco friendly dentistry office that is so invited you wont want to leave when your appointment is over. A friend recommended them to me and I could not be more grateful. Usually we dread going to the dentist, but if your a patient of Dr. Pockrass, you will really look forward to your appointments. This office is fantastic and I HIGHLY recommend.

The dental experience at Dr. Fred's truly transcend any other dental experiences I have ever had! Everyone is so wonderful, both in their work and in their spirit! It is so worth driving to San Francisco.

I love that Dr. Pockrass has good experience, knows his stuff, and takes pride in his work. His office is "green", and feels comfortable, as much like a spa as one could make a dentist's office! They give foot massages while you are getting your teeth worked on. That could be a gimmick, but it also does bring you into your body, to ground you, getting you out of your head (or the million places outside of yourself). That is very helpful for relaxation. Their technology is the latest, so for instance, their x-ray gives out much less radiation than the usual ones. All of the staff is very nice. My child loves this office too, and her pediatric dentist had a really fun office as well!

I brought my scared 10-year-old-daughter to have two cavities filled (we were scheduled for two more the following week). Her friends at school spent recess telling her scary stories of their own visits to the dentist and how much getting a Novocaine shot hurts. She was in tears by the time we got into the exam room and I was anxious for her. You won't believe it! Not only did Dr. Pockrass and his staff manage to calm her down to the point that she got all four fillings down in one visit, they managed to fill the cavities without using ANY numbing agent. I'm floored that they pulled this off. Instead of walking out with a numb mouth, she walked out with a smile. Incredible!!! Highly recommend Dr. Fred Pockrass and his staff.

Great Overall! I used to be afraid of dentists, because teeth are so important and I never understood what was happening. Dr. Fred and his team explained everything they were doing, as well as showed me pictures. Also, speaking of comfort, I was given noise-cancelling headphones and and iPod with many playlists to listen to while they cleaned my teeth, and I got a foot massage. Now, instead of dreading my next appointment, I'm looking forward to getting my 6-month reminder email!

Although the technical expertise is cutting edge with early adoption of the newest advancements in dentistry - the office remains warm, with real people concerned with the absolute comfort of their guests.
