Overall

Friendly and great service. Their pellet delivery charge is very reasonable and prompt. They also gave my stove the best cleaning it has had and runs way better. I love dealing with local family businesses whenever I can.



Recently I went back for pellets and took my stove door in to have a gasket installed. They went way beyond the call of duty when they had trouble with my odd ball stove. Even called a dealer in another state and waited an hour for the information. Did the job and it came out to less than the original quote. Absolutely a great company to do business with. Will not go to anyone else.

Overall

Greed is taking Glenn over will never buy pellets there again!!!!!! They delivered them last year for 9.00 a ton when the gas was almost 4.00 a gal.

now the gas is 2.00 a gal they are charging 15.00 per ton.

This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had trying to buy pellets! I paid for 4 tons of corinth blend pellets and after multiple phone calls was told many different stories of why they haven't delivered my pellets the owner Glen showed up with inferno gold pellets out of foxboro mass and tried to convince us that they were corinth pellets. I spoke with corinth mill salesman and told me otherwise. Glen told he would come back and pick these other pellets and came and got two ton and was rude to my wife in the process. Today is 6 weeks since this all started. He has not been back and surprise surprise will not return any phone calls. I will never do any business with these people again!

My experience with Monitor of Maine has been exceptional. I was referred to them by a close friend and have been nothing but pleased with the dedication and quality service I have received. I would recommend them to anyone. I worked with what seemed to be their whole crew (Glenn, Mary, Zach, Katrina and Jim). I call them often with questions and they are always willing to help. It's nice to see a family owned and run business that is successful. Nothing but good things to say.

Service is pitiful. Contacted them 3 weeks ago looking to trade my stove in for a new one. They said they would get back to me in 2 days. 3 weeks went by and when I called wondering when they were going to contact me, they said they have been really busy and if I have a problem, there are other businesses out there. She was very rude and aggressive over the phone.

The only reason I gave this business one star is because zero was not an option. I had a service tech come out to work on our pellet stove - he was not able to get it working, said he would contact the company and come back out. 1 1/2 weeks went by and I never heard back. I called and spoke to Mary in the office and she was going to check and call me back. She never did. Called and spoke to someone else in the office who also never called me back. When I finally spoke to Mary, she told me that they are very busy, can't get a hold of the company and were doing the best they could. I told her that I would have appreciated a quick call to at least let me know what was going on, but apparently that was too much work for her. I would not do business with this company and would advise anyone else not to as well.
