From the very first contact with the staff at Healing Bridge, I knew that this was going to be a different experience.



First, Allison was able to show me - on paper - what fibromyalgia is, and that it is not something from hypochondria hell. It was something tangible that I could wrap my head around. With that it made the next steps of treating the pain, without drugs, possible.



Allison understands that it's not just the body that hurts, but the way the brain processes that hurt - and uses that knowledge to incorporate gentle movement, breathing, and teaching the brain how to reverse the fibromyalgia. "My hurts won't harm me," gives my head the impetus to continue with daily living - pain free.
