Deer Ridge Golf Club

DO NOT BOOK THE DEER RIDGE GOLF CLUB BANQUET SERVICES! TED PASKO offers the worst customer service. I booked a large baby shower at Deer Ridge for Friday, June 29, 2012. There was a storm resulting in: no electricity, no water to drink, no water to flush the toilets, no lights and no air-conditioning. There were controllable factors that had nothing to do with the storm: rotten food was served, utensils were not provided until requested by guests and some of my guests were treated rudely. The staff was kind but couldn’t make decisions without the approval from the OWNER – TED PASKO. Ted approved nothing – He did not support refilling any food for 2 hours (paid for in full), did not provide bottled water for over 2 hours (in lieu of tap water for guests in 90+ degree heat) and did not provide enough flashlights for the bathrooms nor did he see if I needed anything. No one removed the rotten food; I had to throw it away myself after complaining twice. At the end of the night Ted presented a bill to me in the full amount. After a lengthy discussion in which Ted was very rude, displayed a condescending attitude, showed a complete lack of concern for my satisfaction and a flagrant disregard for customer service he provided me a 10% discount. 10% did not even cover the cost of the rotten food, let alone his attitude. Ted is the owner at Deer Ridge Golf Course. He demonstrates appreciation for his golf customers, but displays evidence of exasperation when dealing with anyone renting the banquet facility. I provided him two full weeks to provide resolution before writing this review. I received a letter stating that I received the best care they could provide given the circumstances, no apology or desire to resolve this issue further. I don’t want anyone to place a special event into the hands of Ted at the Deer Ridge Golf Club. I cannot recommend this location to anyone who would like to be a happy customer.
