Abenaki Timber is a manufacturer and supplier of premium northern and Appalachian hardwood lumber to operations throughout the world. Each load of green lumber that arrives in the company s yard is stuck with Breeze Dried stickers at one-foot centers. The firm applies end waxing on thicker as well as opened grained species to prevent checking. It covers top packs in the air-dry yard to prevent sun and water damage. Abenaki Timber dries lumber on the basis of a drying schedule that is unique to each one. After drying, the lumber is reinspected and packaged with steel strapping and pile bottoms strapped on to provide ease of handling. The company also provides end paint and can put client s logo on request. Abenaki Timber is headquartered in Kingston, N.H., and has branches in Belington, W.Va., and Epping, N.H.
