Parkview Adult Health Care

I agree that a place like this should not be allowed to remain in business. It's a shame that anyone could treat the elderly like this. It's a dump.

I wish I would of researched this facility before I brought my grandmother there. If I had taken her to any other place, I'm sure she would of lived at least a few years more from what I've been told by the county's medical examiner before they released her body to my family for the funeral home. The inspectors knew there was trouble as soon as they entered this nursing home.

The lobby smelled of urine. In one room, they found a 97-year-old woman, lying in her own waste. She had severe bruises on her arm, foot and both legs that the staff could not immediately explain. Another resident had a bed sore larger than a golf ball and dripping blood.

This was life in Parkview Adult Health Care And Activity Center.

These health violations—and two dozen more—were documented last year on a single inspection of the Parkview Adult Health Care And Activity Center contributing to its dubious distinction as one of the area's worst nursing homes in the state. I never knew why my grandmother always said to just let her die when we visit. I realized now, the reason was this, but It's too late. DO NOT BRING ANY OF YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. NOT LONG AFTER, THEY WOULD RATHER DIE.
