Dental Sealants
Sealants are a clear, safe, plastic coating applied to molars. They form a barrier between tooth enamel and harmful sugars and starches to offer extra protection against tooth decay during those early, cavity-prone years. After Dr. Tomasik thoroughly cleans each tooth, he applies a brushed-on clear plastic coating that has a hardening agent.

Resin Composite
When the bacteria in your mouth feed on particles of sugar and starch that remain in your mouth after eating, they produce an acidic by-product that eats away to tooth enamel. Cavities form in the tooth enamel and, if left untreated, can work their way down into the dentin and pulp layers, causing significant discomfort and requiring invasive treatment. Dr. Tomasik can treat early cavities quickly and conservatively with tooth-colored fillings. Instead of the old-fashioned metal fillings of years past, white, composite resin fillings offer a natural look and an effective method for repairing and protecting your teeth.
Veneers
Made from strong, translucent dental porcelain, veneers can dramatically improve the radiance and symmetry of your smile. Dr. Tomasik can place veneers which will correct the following problems in as few as two visits: Crowded teeth, Spaces in between teeth, Uneven teeth, Chipped teeth, Unsightly discolorations or stains, Old discolored crowns or fillings. Crowns
Broken tooth: Rinse your mouth with warm water to clean the area and apply an icepack to reduce swelling. Your dentist cannot reattach the piece that has broken off, but he can suggest restorative options such as bonding or crown placement to return it full function.

Dionne is originally from Alabama and moved here in 2017. She earned her dental assisting degree and worked as an oral surgery assistant for 2 years prior to earning her dental hygiene degree.
