Associates In Eyecare

I do not believe I have ever been wallet raped nor felt bad for any Insurance company before but THIS place deserves an award for their terrible work, incompetent and lying front staff and terrible customer service. The optometrist was as competent as you would expect from any licensed optometrist but not worth the bill they sent to the insurance for over $1,000. I was told when I was shopping for eye exam places that with my insurance I would not have to pay a penny. SO I got my exam, then had my wife come up the next day and she got her exam. After it was all complete I was told that I would have to pay my portion to get our prescriptions, which was about $180. I went a little ballistic in the office but because they used up MY FREE ONE EXAM for my insurance company I had to pay it.
It's now 2 years and just 3 days past and they denied my prescription for contacts. Apparently they need another thousand dollars to keep in business and pay their highly trained over the counter thieves to lie to customers.
0 stars. and I would rather go blind than ever walk into another one of these insurance rapists.

Associates in Eyecare is great. I had to drag my 17 year old boy in for glasses, and the doctor really connected with him. The staff was awesome. The glasses they picked out looked stunning on him. I'm not sure what the other reviewer's problem was. Everyone was very helpful. When the glasses broke two months later they returned them to the manufacturer and gave us new ones for free. These guys are great!

Doctor took his time and was pleasant and thorough, however, when I went to pick up glasses, the older staff there was rude and snotty, and the glasses were a joke. Extremely crooked, both ear and nose pieces, wrong color of tint, and they could not fix them, and wondered why I was upset and did not want glasses. and said that I would need to either wait for them to "sort it out" or "come back another time". Just ridiculous.
