DNA Services of America's most requested test is paternity. Each child inherits one-half of their DNA from their mother and one-half of their DNA from their father. DNA paternity testing can conclusively identify the biological relationship between the child and alleged father. Our probability of paternity is usually 99.9% or higher, with 100% probability for exclusions. Best of all, each test is independently performed twice for quality assurance. Our contracted laboratory is accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), the accrediting agency governing DNA family relationship testing. Not only are our tests accurate, the sample collection process is also painless. Skin cells are collected from the inside cheek of the mouth using a cotton-tipped swab. Samples can be collected as early as the day of birth of the child. Results are available in only 3 to 5 business days, with next-day RUSH options available.
