Batesburg-Leesville Middle School enrolls more than 500 students in grades six through eight. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign languages, and health and physical education. Its athletics department offers a variety of sports activities, such as football, basketball, cross country and volleyball. Batesburg-Leesville Middle School offers gifted and talented education and the English Speakers of Other Languages program. The school additionally offers various after-school programs.
